Message from the managing partner

Hello. I am Donggun Shin, Managing Partner and Licensed Customs Broker of Ubis Customs Service.

Customs duties and clearance are only one part of the many tasks an importing or exporting company handles. Yet a single problem in this one part can create difficulties with contracts, delivery schedules and costs at the same time. I became a customs broker because I wanted to work through such moments together with businesses.

When I worked at the KOTRA office in Chennai, India, I heard the concerns of many companies, from small businesses to large corporations. Their sizes differed, but their concerns were similar: a transaction stopped because of something unexpected, and in a situation with no apparent right answer, they did not know where to begin.

Even so, when we listened to the situation from the client's point of view and several people put their heads together, we were able to find a way in most cases.

We named our office and adopted this sentence as our slogan with the intention of treating our clients' work as our own.

We will always be with our clients' business.
