HS Code Lookup

Enter a product name and description, and AI searches the tariff schedule and classification rulings to suggest HS code candidates.

  1. Chapter (2 digits)Machinery
  2. Heading (4 digits)Automatic data processing machines
  3. Subheading (6 digits)Portable, international standard
  4. HSK (10 digits)Korean tariff code
Example: laptop computer (portable automatic data processing machine)

Enter the product name, material, use and composition of the goods you import or export. Candidates are given down to the 10-digit HSK level. If your input does not settle the 10-digit code, the points that need checking are shown with the candidates.

Do not enter trade secrets or personal information. We do not store what you enter on our servers, and OpenAI retains it for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse.

  • Personal information transferred: what you enter in the product name and description fields (including any personal information you enter)
  • Country, time and method of transfer: the United States, sent over an encrypted network each time you press "Look up"
  • Name and contact of the recipient: OpenAI OpCo, LLC ([email protected])
  • Recipient's purpose of use and retention period: used to generate HS code candidates and to monitor for abuse of the service, and not used to train AI models. Abuse monitoring records are kept for up to 30 days, and may be kept longer where a law requires retention or where needed to protect the service or third parties.
  • How to refuse the transfer, the procedure and the effect of refusing: if you do not check the consent box, what you enter is not transferred. You have the right to refuse consent, and if you refuse, use of HS code lookup is limited. You can get a classification from a Licensed Customs Broker through a consultation request.
  • Ubis Customs Service does not store what you enter on its servers. The result is kept for 10 minutes to deliver it to your screen and then destroyed, and only the hash of your connecting IP address and the lookup count are kept, for the current and previous day, to enforce the daily lookup limit.
