Hand-carry clearance
Hand-carry clearance booking
Send us your arrival schedule and invoice before you arrive in Korea, and we will prepare the import declaration for your hand-carried goods.
Before you submit
- Personal Customs Clearance Code (individuals) or business registration number (businesses)
- Invoice or purchase receipts
- Airport or port of entry, flight number (if fixed)
How it works
- 1.Booking receivedWe send a confirmation email to the address you entered. Our staff check the invoice or purchase receipts and tell you the clearance fee.
- 2.Declaring to customs on arrivalGoods for sale or business use, and company goods such as repair parts and samples, must be voluntarily declared to customs. At the customs inspection counter, say "일반 수입신고 대상 물품" (goods subject to a general import declaration); customs then detains the goods and issues a baggage custody certificate.
- 3.Sending the baggage custody certificateTake a photo of the baggage custody certificate and send it as a reply to the confirmation email. Detained goods can be stored for 1 month, and the period can be extended by up to 1 month at the owner's request.
- 4.Import declarationUbis files the import declaration using the baggage custody certificate number. If customs selects the goods for inspection, please attend on site.
- 5.Tax payment and releaseAfter customs approval, the customs duty and VAT are paid; our staff will tell you how to pay. Submit the baggage custody certificate and the certificate of import declaration to the storage warehouse to release your goods.
